Transformations 2000 (T2000) is a comprehensive, technical training program for adult workers consisting of 490 hours of instruction. It is a success-oriented, flexible, multidiscipline curriculum that develops basic skills in technical literacy. The program's emphasis is on mathematics and science with a contextual, hands-on approach. Transformations 2000 is offered through a community college workforce development program in partnership with local employers.

As a workforce development program, funding for Transformations 2000 may be possible through a local business consortium, economic and/or workforce development grants, Welfare-to-Work, or the JTPA.

ICS explanation: A statement for performance that is a synthesis of expectations from employability, occupational, and academic perspectives is called an Integrated Curriculum Standard (ICS).
