purpose of this module is to provide an overview of innovative teaching
strategies appropriate for use by nurse educators via print-based
or web-based participation. |

| This
module is designed as self-paced instruction for nursing faculty
interested in exploring innovative teaching strategies. This module
is not designed for student use.
The
content, exercises, and references will introduce innovative teaching
strategies by defining a wide range of strategies (both onsite and
online) and presenting detailed examples of selected strategies.
Participants can mix and match activities to meet their personal
learning needs. |

the completion of the module, the learner will be able to:

- promote
active learning
- enhance
critical thinking
